I bought this for my wife as a gift to help declutter her dresser top. It has done exactly that. We have had it now for about 3 months and it is still in perfect shape. We did not experience any problems with the front drawer. I would buy it again.Jewelry Box in Mahogany By Barbara Brooks
This is a piece of cheap work. The bottom drawer has already come apart after TWO openings. I have discarded the original box it came in, but I would certainly like to return this. I am VERY disappointed. I'm adding an additional comment. I think the merchant should redeem some of our money for the poor quality of workmanship on this jewelry box. I can see from the reviews, others are experiencing the same event.

Right out of the box, the front drawer face came off. The jewelry box was for my daughter so my husband glued the front back on. It's a very pretty box, just not made very well.
