I've been wanting a wall-mounted jewelry armoire ever since I saw my friend's slightly smaller square wall mount jewelry box. I saw this exact armoire on the website of the world's largest retailer for $199 plus shipping. I looked at Amazon and found significant savings for what appeared to be the identical product. I was glad I checked. This unit is well-constructed and much heavier than I thought. No particle board here! It was also more cream than white - kind of an antique finish, and while my bedroom furniture is a country white, I was glad it was a bit warmer in tone - not necessarily liking everything matchey-matchey! It is a quality piece! See pictures!
Inside the unit, there are various hooks and racks and places for posts, bracelets, earrings, etc. There is a movable tray at the bottom that is suitable for pins. All of the hardware inside is of high quality - it is not flimsy or cheesy. There are three pre-drilled holes in the back, finished off with a grommet. The unit comes with wall-anchors and screws. Instructions insist that one of the two holes must line up with a wall stud, so make sure that where you think you want to hang it is where a stud is located - the unit needs the support of the stud because it is heavy. Two holes are at the top and one hole is centered at the bottom for additional stability.
The mirror is beveled. The ornate carving at the top is attractive. On the right hand side of the door, there is a scoop in the mirrored door to open and close. There is not a knob or handle. The interior hinges are of good quality. It is covered in a dark maroon velveteen inside. I was very much impressed
The only complaint, if I can call it that, is that the case had a chemical odor when I first opened it up. This went away after a week. If you are sensitive to these things, you might want to unpack it as soon as you get it and let it air out in a garage or location where there is ventilation for a few days.
You will need two people to install it. One to hold the armoire up while the other person pencils in the holes for drilling into the wall. Fasten the stud side first!

This Amazon.com order was shipped to me right away and arrived in perfect condition. I'm very happy with the quality and configuration of hooks, etc... although it is a gift so it hasn't been used yet. My only disappointment is that the antique white color is more of a beige/yellow color so be aware of the color. I thought I was getting an armoire that was an off white rather than a yellow. The true color is NOT accurately reflected in the photos I viewed.Cute jewelry cabinet! Wish the lock worked By KS
Love the look, wish it was a little more white rather than a tad yellowish. Construction isn't too stable as it came shipped with one earring wood spanner broken out of the frame and the lock edges do not line up so it will not lock. Its still useable and I manually fixed the wood piece that was unscrewed. Just wish the lock worked.
